H&A was established as a professional partnership in 1982.

Our firm looks back on 30 years of successful history and growth and is now one of Spain’s leading IP firms, providing “full IP services” as well as services in other related fields such as Copyright, Valuation of intangibles, Unfair Competition, Data Protection and Digital Law.

H&A was founded and started to operate as a pure Spanish law firm, gradually opening offices in the 10 largest cities of Spain.

After consolidating its leadership in the domestic market, H&A vowed to become an international IP player and set about opening branch offices in other countries. Given the cultural and linguistic ties to Portugal and Latin America, offices were established abroad in Portugal, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Colombia.
