Born in 1931, Barceló has always been identified because of its service vocation, willingness to achieve the superior quality and innovation spirit. The group offers a wide range hotel services aimed at two clearly distinguished niche markets: holiday tourism and business tourism.
It counts on the presence of 159 hotels distributed in 14 countries and it can host more than 72,000 people per day in its more than 40,000 rooms; this is what allowed it to compete globally with other important companies. Its negotiating capacity has increased by more than a 200% since 1995. This impressive growth makes the Barceló group one of the three hotel companies in Spain as well as one of the thirty big hotel companies worldwide in terms of number of rooms.
