About Barbadillo

Founded in 1821 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda in southern Spain, Bodegas Barbadillo boasts a two hundred-year tradition as a 100% family-owned winery with its original cellars and 500 ha of Jerez Superior vineyards.

Barbadillo is dedicated to making the highest quality wine from Jerez-Xeres-Sherry, Brandy de Jerez, Vinagre de Jerez, Vinos de la Tierra de Cádiz designations, as well as the Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda Designation of Origen. In fact, it is the leading producer of the latter, with a stock turnover ratio of 50%. Barbadillo has evolved into a large international projection group, and, as well as developing new products within its geographic zone, it has also incorporated wineries in other Designations of Origins, such as the Bodegas y Viñedos Vega Real in the Ribera de Duero Designation of Origin and the Bodegas Pirineos in the Somontano Designation of Origin. www.barbadillo.com
