What is Miquel and Costas & Miquel?
In the early eighteenth century, the Miquel family began manufacturing paper in a completely handmade inthe Catalan town of Capellades, on early s. XX got the current name of Miquel y Costas & Miquel, becoming the world leader group producing paper of specialty papers very low weight.
It was not until later produced that cigarette paper under the Smoking brand, particularly in the 20s of XX century. Today Smoking is the leading brand
in the Spanish and market reference booklets of cigarette papers worldwide, in the sector is one of the most exported brands, marketed in the 5 continents and in more than 100 countries, brand with an extensive range of products adapted to consumer preferences. More than three-quarters of the annual production of Smoking is intended to export markets.
