The germ of Bodegas Terras Gauda appears in 1990 with the foundation of Viñedos do Rosal S,A. And Adegas das Eiras SA. That same year, 37,000 bottles of Terras Gauda, the first harvest, are produced with the grapes of winegrowing partners of the area, while the own plantations are set in motion, always with the fixed idea of safeguarding the identity of the wine O Rosal.

The philosophy of the winery was that Albariño, as it is a very noble variety, could give greater dimension to other strains, always native, to bring new nuances and give O Rosal wines a greater category than Already had.
